ARLINGTON, Va. (WSET) - One candidate for U.S. Congress in Virginia's 8th district is having to answer for his actions after a screenshot revealed what he was really researching.
Mike Webb posted a screenshot on his Facebook page of a Yahoo search for a staffing company.

However, the embarrassing moment came from the first two tabs left open on his search engine allegedly titled "LAYLA RIVERA TIGHT BOOTY" and "IVONE SEXY AMATEUR," according to Gawker.

The Daily Caller reports:

"Webb published a post on his campaign page Monday that included a screenshot of his computer desktop. And as it happened, Webb hadn't bothered to close his pornography tabs when he took his screengrab."

Then Gawker reports that around 6:15 p.m. Webb re-posted the screenshot coupled with a long, rambling post that seemed to indicate that he had a computer virus and "Layla" and "Ivone" were allegedly results from research about computer viruses.

That post, along with the original, has since been removed.

Yet the congressional candidate isn't denying the allegations. In fact, he published another jumbled post around 8 p.m. Monday with Bible verses and religious references.

The post did not seem to indicate any remorse or apology.

What the post did include was the statement "Perhaps, what does not kill you does make you stronger" -- referring to his alleged 25-percent growth on Facebook and 50-percent growth on Twitter in one day after the events.

Webb concludes:

"In 2016, it's about choice; it's about leadership; and it's about time. I am Mike Webb, and I am running for U.S. Congress. Honest."
We still aren't sure what that means.

It's doesn't seem like Twitter users really knows that means either.

Many are suggesting that Webb should be embarrassed by a few things about this post: his usage of the Yahoo search engine and his right vertical toolbar.
